Big issue with functions.php (2 posts)

    Hi everybody,

I just installed a plugin for a site which required a few additional lines to be added to functions.php for my theme. I hastily pasted these lines in, not realizing that there was a semicolon missing, and saved the file. Now every page of the site returns a PHP error citing that line, including the editor itself when I try to fix it.

This would be simple to fix if I had FTP access, but I'm not the owner of the site so I don't. I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen, and if there's another way to fix it without going to the site owner and telling him I need the FTP info so that his site isn't completely unusable.

    Any help is appreciated.

There is no way as you will need either delete and replace functions.php file or download and edit the file and that can only be done using ftp or server.
