• I installed BWPS two days ago and have been locked out ever since. The only way the developer will help is if I pay him $39 to repair the damage his corrupt product caused. That’s a good way to build a bad reputation–don’t stand behind your product. You can bet this will keep me from ever purchasing a premium plugin from this developer.

About 6 different agents from my hosting company have tried to undo the damage by phone, logging in about 12 hours altogether. Still nothing. I’ve sent them a support ticket in hopes that they will ultimately find a fix–or else I’ll have to fork over the $39 and keep my fingers crossed.

So, after I paid the required $39 for help, Matt from BWPS was able to do what about 10 Hostmonster techs couldn’t–fix whatever was locking me out of my site. One thing Matt said was that the W3 Total Cache plugin was causing me to keep getting error messages saying I needed to enable cookies. But he didn’t indicate that that plugin was what kept me locked out due to its incompatibility with BWPS.

In any case, I think I’ll stick to other security measures going forward.
