Better WP Security and file_get_contents('php://input'). (2 posts)

    Heya, folks.

I'm having a bit of a compatibility issue with Better WP Security and a couple of plugins that use RESTful operations. In a nutshell, it looks like when Better WP Security is enabled, file_get_contents('php://input') always returns an empty string. This is a problem, because file_get_contents('php://input') is currently the only way to retrieve the query data for PUT and DELETE operations. Is there any way to get around this limitation?

    Thanks,

    - Dave.

(Since I'm sure that someone is about to suggest re-coding the affected plugins to only use GET and POST operations, let me head that one off right now; it's not necessarily a bad suggestion, but it's not a feasible one in this particular situation.)
