I'm trying to use a custom post type plug-in (Custom Content Type Manager) to re-do a web site that lists itineraries. Each itinerary has up to 10 days and a price table. Each day has a title, description and up to 3 photos. The itinerary price table has 2 to 3 packages with date ranges, standard price and supplemental price. So far I have fields set up like so:
Itinerary
|- Day 01
|- itinerary_title_01
|- itinerary_content_01
|- itinerary_photo_01_01
|- itinerary_photo_01_02
|- itinerary_photo_01_03
|- Day 02
|- itinerary_title_02
|- itinerary_content_02
|- itinerary_photo_02_01
|- itinerary_photo_02_02
|- itinerary_photo_02_03
|- Day 03
|- itinerary_title_03
|- itinerary_content_03
|- itinerary_photo_03_01
|- itinerary_photo_03_02
|- itinerary_photo_03_03
.....
|- Price Table
|- Package 1
|- itinerary_dates_01
|- itinerary_price_01
|- itinerary_suppl_01
|- Package 2
|- itinerary_dates_02
|- itinerary_price_02
|- itinerary_suppl_02
All in all I have 43 fields (so far)... this seems insane! Is there a better approach to setting up custom post types for itineraries?
