I was wondering if there was a plugin that allowed automatic upgrades to occur on certain branches...
ie. so I can follow the 3.2 beta's without having to manually update, or to upgrade to nightly builds.

"Bleeding edge nightlies" will get you onto whatever trunk is.
Point releases would be for something like 3.1.4-alpha if the current was 3.1.3.
