Best way to roll out changes from test to live server? (1 post)

    Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out the best way to roll out changes from my WordPress test server to a live production server.

By changes, I'm referring to EVERY single change that I make on the test server. Be it posts, theme changes, etc.

I want to do it in a such way that I can roll out all the changes at the same time in one go. I'm aware that I can simply export WordPress, re-upload all my files and export my database; however, this is pretty inefficient and may lead to issues down the road. I'm also aware that I can pick and choose the files that have been changed and carry out the changes individually... but this method will be susceptible to human error.

Does WordPress have a way to keep track of ALL my changes, store those pending changes in some sort of module and simply roll out the changes to the live server? If not, is there another alternative way to do this?

    Thanks!
