Best thing to do when links don't validate? (7 posts)

On my site, it rarely validates because of the links that are in my meta fields. You can see what I'm doing here:

What's the best way of dealing with this? How can I get my meta data XHTML compliant without hand-picking through each link that I post?

I usually paste the link into the widget encoder, then paste the result back. Seems to work alright.

Well imported blog rolls are normally involved. Of about 25 errors only 6 or so are urls. Speaking as someone who once hand edited 250 plus url errors I can tell you it is very easy to edit half a dozen.

What do you mean by 'imported blog rolls are normally involved'?

That seems to be where the funkiness gets started.

Well, I took a content-less page (because I know that I have non-XHTML compliant content) and fixed most of the errors, though there are some errors generated by the news feed, unless I turn the descriptive text off. I contacted David Chait to see if he knows how to handle this.
