   Hi all,

   I'm totally newbie and have been using WordPress for 1/2 year for my personal blog http://www.vnfreelance.net. Thanks, WordPress!

   I've been sticking to the Default template until recently when I have the idea of setting my wedding website and begin browsing the themes. Wow I'm kinda lost in the numerous themes and they all look so tempting! I've made another site just to test these: http://www.wikisolutions.net/wp

   Can anyone suggest the most suitable theme for a wedding site which in my preference should be like this:

   Be simple, 2-columned, and left sidebar
   Sidebar will contain only pages (e.g. From us, gift resiter, guestbook, photo album..) and nothing else
   Metadata (author, time, comment count..) be stripped off

   anyone else got a nice wedding theme?
   i will get married in july, and me and the wife (to be) want to inform our friends with a website regarding our plans. well ... i know wordpress, but i guess something corny, maybe a gift-list-plugin or something would be a neat feature.

   :)

   I could have sworn that I answered thi sway back when but the best suggestion is to find a theme that you like and replace the header image with one that you create to show that it's a wedding site.

   Agreed. Best way is to write something from scratch, that's what I had to do for the one of me and my fiance (getting married this Oct.) If you shoot me an email, I'll send you a link.

   Also get it from the WordPress Theme Repository:
   http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/1337/think-pink/

   There are some other really elegant and frilly-feminine themes out there that might suit. Just browser http://themes.wordpress.net or do a google search for "WordPress Themes" and see what you come up with.
