I'm currently browsing through themes trying to determine what is the #1 best theme to go with as a my base theme for all my 50+ new WP sites I'm putting up. I'm fairly new to WP, however I can put up my own site without issue, only when it gets technical do I have issues.
Anyway what would you recommend for something that is easy to read and easy to set up that is also good for SEO. Something I won't have to modify too much. I've been told Thesis is good but it looks like a lot of work and management to customize.
My plan is to take this theme, have a coder install a footer into it so I can essentially install it onto all my new sites with just about everything pre-set.
Also as a follow-up am I nuts NOT using WPMU if I plan on managing all these sites using the same set of plugins/templates?
