• Hi Everyone.

I have a site set up and running and I’d like to be able to show some information (currency of products) depending on the url.

Currently the site has a ‘.ie’ domain and the client wants a duplicated version of the site for ‘.co.uk’. At the moment the .co.uk just redirects to the .ie version.

What do you think is the best solution to having just one wordpress installation, yet having two versions of the site? I am reading up on WordPress Multisite but not really sure if this is what I need?

    Any ideas?

    Michael

I’ve been thinking that a possible solution would be to have the one wordpress build, then code in factors into the theme to check the base url. If it’s .co.uk then display variable 1 from database; if it’s .ie then display variable 2.

But is it possible to have two top level domains pointing to the one website while keeping their domain intact. ie not just a basic url forward.
