Is there a best practice for referencing a set of files I would like to make globally available to all themes? For example, one folder of fonts which all themes can access via font-family link in the CSS files? I do not want to duplicate the fonts into all themes as this will make future changes more troublesome.

Would you, perhaps, create another folder in the wp-content area called ‘global’ and place global images/fonts in here?

Or, would you place it in the wp-includes folder?
