   Hi everyone,

   I am looking for everyone's recommendations on the best plugin(s) to do the following:

   • Have a short author bio for the respective post author that allows HTML formatting and a small avatar picture underneath each post. As far as I remember, WordPress' default author bio field strips all HTML and even things like paragraphs are not possible.
   • Have a dedicated author page with more info about the author, the avatar, custom widgets perhaps, and a list of recent posts

   Please let us know if you find one. If not, I might try to create one myself; sounds like an interesting project.

   I'm looking for opinions - I'm sure these already exist and in fact I'm sure there are plenty to pick from. I'm looking for the best. Anyone?
