    Hello,

I normally use all in one seo for regular wordpress, but i have no experience with wpmu. Please help me out choosing best seo plugin for the same.

One more thing. If i do not install any seo plugin an go with default settings, how much seo friendly it is ?

    thank you

  2. lt's Multisite, not WPMU. :)

Please help me out choosing best seo plugin for the same.

None. Or the same as you use on WordPress Single Site. Doesn't matter, and if you want one with default settings, you'd have to use a separate plugin to setup plugin defaults for your network.

    lt's Multisite, not WPMU. :)

    then why do we have-
    http://wpmu.org/
    http://mu.wordpress.org/
    http://codex.wordpress.org/WPMU

  4. http://wpmu.org/ - Not a part of wordpress.org

    http://mu.wordpress.org/ reads:

WordPress MU is no longer a separate project; it is continuing development as part of the main WordPress branch under the name multisite or MS. This means that it will get more frequent updates and improvements.

    http://codex.wordpress.org/WPMU says:

ATTENTION! WordPress MU is no longer under active development as a separate product. Its features were rolled into core and released with WordPress 3.0. You can simply proceed by Installing WordPress and Create A Network instead. It functions generally the same.

This only says that wpmu is not a separate project anymore and doesn't say that it do not exist , although its rolled into a common platform called MS, but when we enable the network and use it as it was, good old wpmu.

  6. Trust me. It's not WPMU. Read this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/welcome-to-the-multisite-forum?replies=2

WPMU is no more. We have replaced it with WordPress Multisite. If you tell people you're on WPMU, we'll think you're on the old, pre 3.0, version of things and you will confuse everyone. So please don't :)

Anyway. Did you get your SEO plugin question answered?
