Hey guys.
I was looking around today with no luck for a nice and simple plugin to open a small "store" on my site where I would sell anywhere from 1-10 digital products (in .zip folders, small in size). I don't need anything big and something like OIO Publisher just isn't built for this. I could use it, but it's too, eh.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Check out Shopp - http://www.shopplugin.net - it's new and looks pretty good. I've seen it in action and it fairly easy to use.

Hey.
Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for something free, though. Yeah, that was my bad, forgot to mention that.
Any other ideas?
Good luck finding anything worthwhile for free. One thought to consider: If you're going to sell stuff then maybe an investment of your own is in order? Just a thought...

Thanks paul, but I've already tried out the e-commerce plugin. On the contrary to what they say, it is one of the un-user-friendly and hardest things to use. They have basically no documentation on how to get started or a simple tutorial on setting up an item.
Anything else?

for $5 a month, look at e-junkie.com - customers can download from automatically supplied links which expire according to your specs.
for free, http://www.fatfreecart.com/

Yeah, I know about ejunkie. I would use their system if I had a paypal account that I could spend money with. I don't feel like giving out my bank account / soc sec number just so I could spend $5.
FatFreeCart looked promising, but it's not automated.
Thanks though.
There has to be some simple, lightweight plugin that does this, no?

Actually, I've seen most of those, and they're not good. I tried the ones I didn't, and boy, did they suck. So much work and total confusion/lack of a good tutorial on setting it up.
Theres gotta be something, no?
I have looked at the "SHOPP" premium plugin above and used the demo on the website and it is amazing! It does everything! I will be purchasing it in the near future for a project I am doing. I to wish everything was free but in this case I think you get more then you pay for.
You dont have to hand out your bank details or social security to sign-up with E-junkie.
If you can elaborate on delivery process, then I would be able to give you a better perspective.
