   What is the best versions of PHP and MySQL to use for WordPress 2.0?

   PS: Yes I have searched and have not found any clear information.

   Yes and no. Let me explain. I am moving to a VDS setup which I can have any version of php or mysql. So maybe my question should have read: What are the latests versions of these that work with wordpress 2.0?"

   The latest version of both would be best. Stuff works better with the latest versions.

   From my experience, that is not always the case. You should really investigate what versions of mysql and PHP play the best together, then compare that to the min. requirements of WP.
