Best membership-plugin

Hi,

We have a newspaper on wordpress, Divi-theme. Now we are gonna close the site for nonsubscribers, which plug-ins is the best. Non subscribers should only see excepts on the landing page, everything else locked. As a subscriber you shoud fill out a form where they put in theire name, email, subscribtion number, desired username, and password. Then they will get an email, the newspaper will get an email. And they should be able to log in upon approval.
