I have about had it with Host Gator. I have never had trouble with them and all the other WP sites I'm running/managing, but I've got a multisite install on a dedicated server and it's been nothing but trouble lately. Is there another host that is better for running multisite or that is just better in general?

wow, problems on a dedicated server?!
in the main menu up here, there are some hosting suggestions
i host with dreamhost, and they're quite ok, but i don't have a dedicated server
(which they say is required to run multisite...)
i'm running one test installation of it in a shared servers and no problems so far -
