Hi there. Please excuse any apparent dumbness here, I'm totally new to the world of blogs, both as a user and about-to-be implementer.

I am building a site for a client here http://www.campbelldesign.com/clients/wz/testsite2/

They want a blog and I would like to start them off with a link to a WP Blog on their site - and then if possible - a link back to their site from the blog. Assuming I can customize the WP blog to match their site - which it looks like I can.

But in the future, I would like to embed the blog within the site, which I see from the forums is possible, though I could not find any detail about how.

My question - should we just embed the blog within the site right from the start?

My problem is... to be quite honest... I basically don't know how to do embed a blog in the site. And they want the site finished pretty quick, because they want to start blogging ASAP.

So...do I get their Blog set up now on WP and migrate it to live within their site later... or bite the bullet and have a fast learning curve right now? Would I be creating more problems by not embedding it from the outset?

I have a second site in progress which will require a blog also - same situation - you can see it here http://www.campbelldesign.com/clients/travelmom2/

Thanks for any your help, appreciate it. Happy to offer any help/advice on the things I AM an expert in - Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark.

Well you could install WordPress into a folder called http://www.campbelldesign.com/clients/wz/testsite2/blog then on your main site put a link to that URL and in the blog put a link back to the main site.
