I am about to convert my rudimentary website to ecoomerce with wordpress and want to minimize the amount of redos. So I am asking more experienced here.
I am based in Canada but have sales in USA and International.
In Canada I need to collect taxes, USA and international not required.
The products and prices are all the same except that there is a different shipping logic and rate for Canada, USA and Intl.
I have purchased "stored" from design crumbs and decided to use Cart 66.
I have figured out Cart 66 and for each destination separately it should work for me. Cart 66 does not have a different shipping strategy that can be changed on the fly by country.
The question is this. How do I set up everything to allow a customer to purchase an item all the way to checkout.
Should I make a home page and then make three different sites? My ISP allows wordpress multisite. Is this the way to go. I want to start out in the correct direction to save time and effort.
