Before changing URL

    I made a new website using http://www.domain1.com and redirected the old websites url http://www.domain2.co.nz to the new site. Now I need to attach the old domain to the new site. Do I need to remove the redirect first, and should I change the IP address of the old domain to the new server?

    After doing this, i assume I just follow the codex for changing site url.

    Also wondering…could I just change the url in my dashboard/settings/general? Or do I need to do it through php?
