before and after parameter does not working for [post_view]

    Hi,

    I’ve tried to add the before and after parameter for [post_view] shortcode.

    1. I tried putting this in the post
    [post_view before="This post has been viewed " after=" times"]

    This only shows me 0 which is the number of views. No “after” and “before” element showing up.

    2. I tried adding this to my template
    echo do_shortcode('[post_view before="This post has been viewed " after=" times"]');

    Same result as method no 1. Got any ideas why is that happen?
