   hi

   this box is checked under: Settings -> discussion

   But it isnt working. Every comment posted is seen after posting without awaiting moderation?

   what is going wrong?

   Is that when you are logged in? When logged in as an admin, you may see all comments - moderated and unmoderated.

   No it is when im not logged in.
   i was making a comment on my second PC, and the comment was not in my moderation panel, it was just in time visible for all.

   very strange

   any further ideas?

   Hi,

   Make sure that you have selected these options from wordpress admin area -> settings -> discussion:

   Anyone posts a comment
   A comment is held for moderation
   An administrator must always approve the comment
   Comment author must have a previously approved comment

   Hi Shane,

   all items mentioned above are selected,
   but

   dont work, every one can post comments without approving.

   very strange, any further ideas?

   aha,

   Spam Karma 2 - Reloaded is the problem. i deactivated this plugin , and now it is working. but spam karma is not working any longer,

   hmmmm
   any ideas?

   Looks like Spam Karma 2 has been updated since Jan 2009 - which means that it may not be compatible with WP 2.8.
