   I have installed the jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries plugin but it does not seem to work in the Beardsley theme.

   I tried switching the theme to another and it worked fine.

   Does anyone have any ideas what the Beardsley theme might be lacking to allow the lightbox plugin to work?

   is there a better forum to post this in?

   i mean i'm pretty sure the problem is the theme but it's a plugin not working with that theme which is the issue.

   i imagine if this one doesn't work others will have trouble as well.

   how can i know what it is this theme is doing wrong?

   Is there perhaps a list of all the things the template should have in order for proper plugins to work with them?

   Have you tried adding class="lightbox" to the <a tag?

   i would like to do that but that tag is created automatically.

   where do i go in wordpress to manually add that class to the "a" in the output of the native gallery?

   ok. so as a test I added a single image and put the class in the html of that link and it does not work either.

   example is on that test site

   This still has not got working yet.

   Does anyone have an idea why this plugin might not work with a theme?
