bbPress forum and BuddyPress not interacting with dashboard and users (7 posts)

    hello, i just installed BUDDY, im not familiar with this plugin but within the pages created i can not creat accounts, forums do not appear nor i can create, sorry im not sure whats up with the new installation,

    could someone help me out with this issue ??

    sorry - i was working on MYSQL - at the time - please try again - i un installed buddy and bb press - would you like me to install it again ??

    i have re-installed - buddy and bbbpress - confi looks good but no links and does not integrate with users - admin nor anything ???

    Sorry, but something's getting lost in translation.
    Did you go through the Installation Wizard?
    Did you follow the steps to configure BP components like groups, members, etc?
    Have you gone to Settings > Forums to configure bbPress sitewide plugin?

    I apparently did not go through the bbpress installation wizard--don't even recall seeing it when I activated bbpress. The forums are set up, but bbpress does not show up in my dashboard--only in the plugin list. Therefore, I have no access to the components shown on the screenshots I see of bbpress admin.

    I am really new to all this. Please HELP!

    @littlesparrowblog the Installation Wizard I was referring to was for pre-BuddyPress 1.7, the post was 9 months ago. There is no longer an installation wizard for BuddyPress in current version and there never was a wizard for the bbPress plugin.

    So BuddyPress is not installed in your WP site, only bbPress was mentioned in your post above. Check out the bbPress documentation http://codex.bbpress.org/
