[resolved] bbPress changing 'Forum' to 'Newsroom' (3 posts)

    Hi All,

I have installed bbPress as a plugin, however I want to change the word 'Forum' and 'Forums' in the title, breadcrumbs and forum list to Newsrooms.

Can someone please tell me how to do this?

I have tried creating a child theme with the bbPress files, this allows me to change it to Newsroom, however breaks the rest of the website. Obviously not a good thing! I believe this is because it replaces the CSS file.

    EDIT:
OK It's not because of the CSS, it's because all of the images, functions and settings are in the parent theme.

It seems like overkill to create a child theme to change a word.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Any help would be much appreciated!
    Sam

May be you can use localization files to change that word?

Thank you for the reply InvinciP, however I re-created this post on the bbPress forums and it's now solved.

If anyone finds this post instead of the bbPress forum one, please see:

    Thanks again,
    Sam
