   I am looking for a plug-in that would allow me to do a batch import of pictures into WordPress, and at the same time, modify the folliwng metadata:

   XMP
   IPTC
   EXIF
   WordPress Alt
   WordPress Titel Text/Descrption
   WordPress Tags

   Does the Imgae Metadata Cruncher allow me to change the tags before importing and automatically the WordPress fields with the text I select?

   The plugin works the same for single as well as batch upload. But it only can extract metadata. You are probably looking for some plugin that could also modify it.
