   I've only just started incorporating tags into my site, and in trying to replace a subcategory with a tag, I've noticed that the batch editor isn't adding tags.

   Anyone know why this might not be working? Thanks!

   Last time I checked, there was a known issue with saving tags in WP 2.8.

   Actually, in poking around more, I noticed at the bottom of the categories page a little link to a Categories2Tags converter.

   It also appears to be hidden on the Tools/Import page.

   I wish it were a bit more prominent, but this converter is even better than what I was trying to do. Hot damn!

   Not sure if I should mark this as resolved or not, since I got what I wanted to work, but the batch editor is still technically broken.
