    Hi,

it seem’s the basket cannot be created. Do you’ve filled shop_id, shop_api and shop_secret correctly?
If you don’t know, please fill out the spreadplugin admin settings and just use the minimal shortcode “[spreadplugin]”. (It will tell you what type of informations is neccessary)

    Cheers

    Thanks for the swift response!

I changed the short code to [spreadplugin] – the articles still render correctly, but it doesn’t place any items in the basket. The “add” button changes to “adding…” and the basket remains an in clickable link. I noticed in your sample store a number pops up in denoting the quantity of the cart, that never comes up either.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you please send me the full spreadplugin (extended) shortcode to have a look at by email? info@spreadplugin.de

I have been seeing an increasing number of customers who have this issue. After checking, I found that the issue was not a plugin (even though activating one of the plugins caused this issue) but it was a RLimit that the Web Hosting Service “Hostgator” implement which was causing the issue. It seems that once a limit is reached, all connections are blocked.
This explains why it is not just one connection or location being effected.
Unfortunately, hostgator do not seem to check the RLimit unless you actually force them to do so.
Hope this helps others with a similar issue.
