   My 2.0.2 Administration/Options/Writing panel does not offer the "When Starting a Post" radio button option for basic and advanced like is shown in the first line at:
   http://codex.wordpress.org/images/3/32/options-writing.png

   How to activate this? Dan

   Those no longer exist in 2.0.2. :-)

   OK. Then, how to remove all the side bar items on the Write Post page along with the footer items like Upload File and Trackbacks

   That's a really good question.

   To the best of my knowledge, you can't. Many of them can be "collapsed" to just show the blue bar (little plug thingy) but I don't think we can remove 'em.

   The Basic Post, or something like it, is still there! It just isn't linked from Admin.
