Basic install questions….help?

I set up a basic TNG install at lindsayclan.us/tng and did aa clean WP install to the mian domain lindsayclan.us. I set the options in the TNG plugin to the correct directory, and created a blank test page at http://lindsayclan.us/tng-test/ for the tng plugin to work from.
None of the links in the regular sidebar seem to work and the overall funciton of the tng plugin seems to not work either, aside from bringing up the main page. Any recommendations on how to configure it to work with the plain tng functions would be appreciated.

The tng landing page is what I will set my wordpress page to look like. Is there any way to have the tng page show a different landing page? I was thinking of just putting basic directions in there instead of the info replicated on the WP main page.

Is there a way to set the width of the TNG pages to match the width of the SP pages?
