Barthelme theme and pre-formatted text (1 post)

    Hi,

This is my first post here, so first of all thanks for the great software and support forums.

I'm putting together a WordPress site, and have run into a small formatting problem. I'm using the Barthelme theme for a site that includes C++ code samples, for which I'm using the < pre > tag. On some browsers it works fine, while on others additional formatting (not specified by Barthelme, I don't think) is being applied to all pre-formatted text. Here's a summary of the results I'm getting:

Safari in OS X: Pre-formatted text is rendered in a size that is smaller than the default

Firefox in OS X: Pre-formatted text is rendered in a light gray color rather than black

Firefox and Internet Explorer in Windows: Pre-formatted text is rendered correctly (black, full size)

I should also note that < pre > works fine on other sites in OS X; the behavior seems to be specific to Barthelme and/or WordPress.

Basically what I'm after is for pre-formatted text to display in the same way (black, 'normal' size) on all of the above browsers. Here is an example page with some pre-formatted text showing the behavior in question.

Any suggestions or tips will be much appreciated. Thanks for reading,

    Jesse
