I have uploaded several WP themes for my niche blogs in fashion and jewelry and every one of them uploads with a grey bar up on top that says, admin, page, post,etc. Is there a way to eliminate this bar or are the templates defective. The bar is also visible when I checked the website in my browser.

That's a feature in WordPress 3.1. You can only see the bar when you're logged in as an administrator. The public does not see it, nor will you when logged out.

Posted 1 year ago #You can disable the Admin Bar globally, via Plugin, or on a per-user basis, via the user profile settings.
