Anyone noticed sudden drastic increased in your monthly bandwidth after upgrading to WordPress 3.3?
I am asked now to upgrade my web hosting package because my bandwidth increased all of a sudden after updating my wp to 3.3. Funny thing is I've been with my web hosting for almost 6 months now and the traffic is low (max of 200 per day) and my post, they're just less than 150.
Anyone?
Went back and reviewed ... There was a large uptick when upgrading (I had 4 WP installs to do) but now it's back to normal.
Had a similar situation, hosting provider suggested WP Super Cache which I installed, seems to have brought it down somewhat.

@mikey1, I have been using "WP Super Cache" on my other blog sites before and this is the first time I encountered this - so I am not sure if this will help to resolve the problem. But thanks anyway. :)
I went back and looked at MY site and the bandwidth reports. I have a pretty granular tool and if I look on the day and time of when I upgraded everyone to 3.3, it shows a marked uptick. That's all.

for now, since I haven't figured it out yet... i moved all my images to dropbox to ease the problem.
I am still intrigue why I am getting high bandwidth with the same traffic before just after upgrading to wp 3.3.
There's really no way WP could have increased image bandwidth.
This is a case where you need to review your logs, see where people are hitting your site from, and if there's a problem or not.
