It blocks feedburner. When you ping it says no- 403-bad behavior. From another post somewhere I read that it might be an issue. So, I deactivated BB (cleared cache) and got a “null” when trying to ping. So, I deleted BB and ping worked correctly and rss posted immediately.

I appreciate that this might not be viewed for a while by the plugin author but I just didn’t want to register for a new account with a plugin to report this. Maybe a form with captcha?

  • I just noticed this. Feedburners feeds were not updated since a week now and when looking at my feeds and editing the address I’ve got an error message pointing Bad Behavior !

Once again, it is inappropriate to post support requests for Bad Behavior here. Especially when it’s not Bad Behavior causing the problem.

You are right, it’s a problem coming from Google. But it’s more difficult to make Google improve than – eventually – your plugin 🙂 Thanks for the precisions. I will try to solve this.

    Thanks for the information.

I did explain why I posted here rather than your site. I’m aware that plugin authors have no notification when someone posts in their support forum here. (Plugin authors should request that feature from wordpress.) Most plugins authors have off site forums/support and want us to register for there and it is becoming overwhelming as we experiment and learn about all the various plugins. That’s why I recommended a form.

Project Honey Pot has contacted me about this. But there’s nothing that either of us can do. The fix for this must come from Google. In the meantime you can whitelist the User-Agent if you wish.
