  • Two more errors – both on Dashboard.

Dasboard widget’s name is BackWPup Aktive Jobs whereas it should be BackWPup Active Jobs.

Secondly the Active Jobs widget is showing the wrong status. All the jobs had ended but it is showing the same status for all the 3 jobs I run:

. FileBackup: working since 1309923927 sec. View! Abort!
. BackupDB: working since 1309923927 sec. View! Abort!
. DBOptimise: working since 1309923927 sec. View! Abort!

Please look into these errors as well.

Yes, it doesn’t work on any of my wordpress sites now I get the following errors in the log when trying to run a backup:

“[ERROR] Step arborted has too many trys!!!
    [ERROR]To many restarts….
    Job done in 0 sec.”

I hope it gets updated soon. I really like the plugin.

    Dropbox backup not working…

work page blank black screen ((

I get the same error on the jobs overview screen

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/username/public_html/somedomain-com/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/pages/func_backwpup.php on line 248

did you guys recreate the job? this worked for me.

the black screen could be a dispalying problem

check to see the logs to find out if the backup does get created, I found that using IE9 with compat mode on the jobs overview screens only shows some data and hangs after a couple of lines. WHen not using compat mode it works just fine.

Just deleted and recreated the job, and it’s stopped complaining.

    (@gabrielwhite)

    Even easier:

    1. Open the jobs list in one browser tab
    2. Open the “problem” job for editing in another tab
    3. Delete the problem job from the jobs list
    4. Save the problem job you kept open in the other tab

I found that this worked a charm – I only had to reauthenticate with Dropbox, which was easier than recreating the whole job.

delete job and create new job again.. not worked for me ((

    again error line 248..

I’ve upgraded to 3.2 and 2.0 and I see the same error as others on this thread.

The following message is displayed 29 times times each under the other on the Backup Job screen. I only have defined one job and these 29 messages appear underneath it in the Information column. It’s as if by computing the text to display in the Information column it is causing this problem. But why 29 times I don’t know as I only have one job.

    I was previously on 1.7.8

Daniel, if you again want me to test something before you release it let me know.

Message displayed…Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in …/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/pages/func_backwpup.php on line 248

You can try to go to “Settings” and set the two steps settings to “3” and “5”.

Make sure you try it all with “Maintenance” at the job setting disabled.

    These settings worked for me.

    @daveshine

About what kind of two steps are you talkin about?

Just go to backwpup settings page, scroll down to job settings and then the first two settings.

Also set the “Max. normal script runtime:” normally 30 sec.
and the “Max. long script runtime:” normally 300 sec.

    Does it help?

Yes Dave it helped – job is now running πŸ™‚

    That is great!

I will appoint this to Daniel to make this default settings maybe and also to put this in the FAQ or elsewhere…

Can’t blame it on IE. Also get no working display in FireFox 5.0. The progress bars at the bottom immediately jump to 100% but the job never ends.

I’ve recreated the job, put defaults in blank settings field. Nothing seems to help.

The only thing that appears in the log after letting it run for a couple of hours was

      one line, [ERROR]Aborted by user!!!

    Totally broke.
