When backing up the htaccess-file, I get the following issue:

    htaccess backup failed.

Warning: copy(/www/htdocs/.../.../.htaccess.backup) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/.../.../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-utility-file.php on line 49

Warning: fopen(/www/htdocs/.../.../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/logs/wp-security-log.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/.../.../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-debug-logger.php on line 52

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /www/htdocs/.../.../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-debug-logger.php on line 53

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /www/htdocs/.../.../wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-debug-logger.php on line 54

    I wonder what's wrong.

Your have a bit of a file permission issue on this site. Who is your hosting provider?

Hello and thanks for the hint.

My sites are hosted at all-inkl.com (http://all-inkl.com). It's a german provider in Munich.

With the help of the administration system of the provider I changed the ownership of the wp-content-folder, but this didn't help, either did the changing of access-rights via FTP. I've mailed the whole thing to my provider's support-mail and I'm awaiting a hint.

okay. Basically, a WordPress plugin should be able to copy a file, but on your server it is failing with permission issues. Get your host to fix that permission issue. Then you can try the features again.
