This is what the timer says for daily:

Backup Email Expected in 5 days 20 hours 1 minutes 1 seconds

The Backup email timer is frozen and not counting down causing the plugin to not function.

Changing the backup schedule to weekly and saving it does this:

Backup Email Expected in 10 days 14 hours 7 minutes

Changing it back to Daily again and saving it:

Backup Email Expected in 5 days 20 hours 1 minutes

Similar results changing to monthly and yearly.
    Requirements Console shows all green.
    Cron Job settings at default.

Delete and reinstall does not work.

Plugin was working for some time and then just stopped.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    Hi,

Thank your for such a detailed feedback about the plugin. I will look into the problem and will resolve it soon. In fact time can’t be frozen, its just telling you that you are listed in queue and a number of websites are already there so your backup could be delayed maximum to this time. But still it should send you the backup file in time instead of too much delays. That time is calculated with the remote server’s time so ignore it for now, i will fix this calculation issue so you will see the accurate and relevant time only.

    Thanks,
    Fahad

Thank you for the quick reply.

To clarify, the time displayed is an estimate from the host server and represents a delay from the host. The time display issue is cosmetic, and the plug-in is working as intended. So the backups are not being delivered on time due to an issue with the host?

The site owner is curious why her backups seemed to have stopped and I just want to have the correct answer for her.

    Thank you again!

    Hi Robert,

If backups are not working as expected then its quiet possible that some libraries are missing on client’s server. Can you please see the KBD Settings page and “Requirements Console” there? Is everything fine? And another thing, sometimes backup size exceeds from the limit of email attachment so it stops working. Please check both things. I will here to resolve the issue if you feel something is complex to handle.

    Thanks,
    Fahad
