   I am using Market Theme and have these plugins active:

   All in One SEO Pack
   Google XML Sitemaps
   WordPress.com Stats
   WP-Table Reloaded

   I guess it's an All in One SEO Pack problem - in the Configuration panel, where I put Home Title, Descriptions and Keywords, any words with apostrophes show in the Source Code with a backslash before them.

   Unfortunately the All in One SEO support is useless, unless I pay a subscription. I've searched their forum to no avail.

   I've also seen questions like this for previous versions of WP where an update to that version fixed it.

   Does anyone know how I can fix this or if there's an update or fix to 3.1?

   No fix up to date on 3.1.2.
   However, if you experiance the same problem as in: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/backslash-quote-problem?replies=3. The solution given may be of help to you as well.

   Adding the php.ini file solved my issue of extra / before every ".
