[resolved] backslash added in front of apostrophe (5 posts)

The site is adding a backslash ahead of an apostrophe in the Read More section. I believe it's caused by Line 47. I found this article: http://us1.php.net/addslashes. Is there a workaround for not displaying the backslash before the apostrophe? It's not displaying on the Read Less link, just the Read More link. Here's the page: http://tv.twomaidsandamop.com/media-coverage/

Here's the shortcode as it's entered: [wpex more="Franchising.com Profiles The Home Services Industry's Newest Brand" less="Franchising.com Profiles The Home Services Industry's Newest Brand"]Two Maids & A Mop is set to begin franchising its operating model across all 48 states. An industry journal profiles the company's transformation from a regional player into a national brand. More >[/wpex]

Didn't hear a thing back from the plugin developer. I'm posting this in case someone has the same problem.

My solution: I moved on to another plugin, Elegant Themes Shortcodes. My Customer was happy with the way the boxes looked, and I didn't have a similar problem with the apostrophe.
