   Hi
   I installed Word Press 1.0 (I think) with fantastico.
   I've been searching through the forums but haven't figured it out yet...how do you backup your blog and then upgrade?

   I'm not familiar with the fantastico setup, but, there could/should be an option to backup your mySQL database. With my host, I download a file to my PC.
   To upgrade, just download the build you want, unzip it all, then upload to the WP directory and then run wp-admin/upgrade.php
   You might also want to download your index.php and wp-layout.css so that when you have uploaded all the new stuff, you can get it back to looking how you want it to. Alternatively, you could choose not to upload those two files from your downloaded zip.
