Backing up a wordpress site

    I would like to upgrade my WordPress site to the latest version 3.3.2 but frankly I can’t figure out how to back up my site beforehand. I’ve read all the help topics on the subject and it’s over my head.

    I also went to BlueHost, my server, and tried to back it up, but ended up with a zip file I have no idea what to do with.

    Feeling kinda’ dumb right now, but I know how to do lots of other things. 🙂
    Can someone please help me?
