    I dont get it..

    I view my site in firefox and can move to posts, pages, archives and everthing is smooth, you dont see anything flash on the screen as though its loaded up a file

    yet in internet explorer ( damn thing ) EVERY time i click on a page or post or archive or category i see a quick flash of my background image, even if i go away from a post to a page and then come back to that post it still does it.

    Im gathering its some type of i.e issue with loading images over and over again but im sure there is a fix for that

    i do have a i.e6.css and i.e7.css if anyone knows the solution it would greatly help as all that flashing is going to seriously piss my visitors off if they are using internet explorer

    thanks

    ok here you go

    http://tinyurl.com/yfldnb4

    Now what im guess here is what im seeing is the background color #4C2102 loading and then the background image loading

    Now opera, firefox and chrome appear to load it fine, and they must cache so that each time a person clicks it doesnt keep loading but i dont think i.e is doing it and they must have some delay as you see in i.e for a split second the background color then the image but its enough to get annoying and turn people away..

    like maybe the solution is the loading order, to load the image then the background color? But how would i do that and would it even fix it?

    Try adding the !important declaration on your background definition on your css.
    background: #000000 url(/images/bg.jpg) no-repeat fix top left !important;

    If unsatisfied with the loading results, try lowering the quality of your background image, 124KB really takes time time to load on browsers without caching.

    you can try this plugin too http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/
