I am using Background Manager on my website. I can't find an option to make the images fade during transition.

Is there a way to have a next and prev buttons on it too?

    Hi!

The transitioning effect is selected from the main Settings page (Appearance -> Background). Note that this option is only available in "Full Screen" Background Layouts.

As for a next/prev button, not yet, but is in planning.

Thank you for the quick response Myatu!

Do you think modifications on the plugin code is possible to make it fade without having it fullscreened? If so, what file so I edit?

    Hi,

It is not possible to do it with a "normal" layout currently, because there is only a single layer being used. I may reconsider adding a second layer, but the "normal" layout has been provided predominantly for backward compatibility with browsers of all types.

@basti82: They're built in already. It's Bars, Zip, Blinds, Swipe, Random Blocks, Sequential Blocks, Concentric and Warp. 3D effects are disabled, as they are too heavy for background images and not supported on all devices.
