Background load issue on Revolution Slider.

Hi there, we’ve recently changed our slider of choice to the Revolution slider from the free total slider.

Total slider had issues with all slide being loaded on page load. We moved to Revolution slider as it has the ability to load single images every time a new slider is rendered instead of preloading entire slide range. This will ultimately be great for SEO as it will speed our homepage and other pages with a sliders load time up.

We are now experiencing procedural image load on slider load. Is this due to us using background image for hi-res art work or should we be using layers for such images. The issue is noticeable in Chrome and Safari.
