background img behind posts

    Ok, so I came up with an idea to give each post their own div wrapper. And each post also has a unique div id, via a counter variable. That way I can style the first and foremost post as a featured post. Arghhh. I know, I’ve been toiling at this for a while now. Well, according to View Source, my counter variable and div tags are being assigned as desired, but no styling is occuring. I have set a style in my CSS file, but magically it doesn’t take. What gives!?!?!
