I have been battling a few weeks now trying to achieve what the image link shows below. If someone could please tell me the code to use in a custom.css file, I'd very much appreciate it because I am all out of efforts. I'm not a CSS person, but I do try, and the author lives in another country and we are having difficulities with eMails reaching each other, evidentally. The theme that I use is a bare bones template and just recently added a custom.css file so you didn't have to alter the primary style.css file. This is all fine and grand, but I still can't figure out how to make the images work.

Thanks for replying, but that didn't work. I was just analyzing my example image from that link, and decided maybe I wasn't clear enough about what I was trying to get across.
The three white images are not the blog content, they are what the blog content lays on top of. They are three sheets of paper: header, middle, footer. The posts and sidebar and all of that lays on top of those connected pieces of paper.
So, what I'm needing to do is have 4 image references: the polka dot background and the three split pieces of paper, placed somewhere in the custom.css file.
Did that make any sense? :)
