  • That is NOT the Twenty Twelve theme.

Thanks for your reply, esmi. But the “blog page” (http://www.onyxpearl.com/writings) is a customized twenty twelve theme.

What I am trying to do is match the background image of the blog to the background image of the website. I inserted the code from the theme’s style.css below. Let me know if you need additional information that would assist you in helping me.

[That’s WAY too much code to post here – please use a pastebin ; for CSS questions, no need to post any code anyway – it’s all visible on your site]

That’s a completely new custom theme. It no longer has anything to do with the Twenty Twelve theme.

Being new to this, I want to make sure I understand the rules of the forum. If I leave the template as it is, I can get help? If I customize it, I can’t get help? Feel free to point me to the forum rules if they’re documented somewhere on the WordPress site so that I may abide by them.

BTW, I’m not sure what you mean by “new custom theme”. I couldn’t code anything from scratch if I wanted to. It’s not my forte. But in most cases I can edit code to get to what I’m trying to accomplish, which is what I did in this case.

Thanks in advance for your patience as I navigate through the WordPress ecosystem.

The theme that is currently on your site bears no resemblance or direct connection to the original 2012 theme. It is, in effect, a custom theme. A new theme.

    Thanks, esmi.

I’ll figure it out on my own.

    Have a blessed day.
