Background Color, Texts

Good Morning,

I am new to this and I am loving using wordpress except some issues I am running into. My site is http://www.edgarpanaderophoto.com. I have used firebug to inspect it but I cannot find some of them in the screen.css to change:

a. background color on “home”, “fashion”, etc buttons – I chose gray in the theme seetings but I really want it to have no background but there’s no option not to choose a color. I tried “none” or “transparent” in screen.css but it does not word.

b. i would like “photography” to be h2 and I can change it in firebug but I cannot find it in screen.css so I tried it putting it as text but I cannot format it to look so that it stretches the length under my name.

c. the italicize do not work in “You have to live and life will give you pictures”

d. “x Close” button – I want this to appear like the rest of the button
