Background and blockquote color issues

I’m using the latest version of evolve.

Since the last update, the colors on my site seem to have changed drastically. Actually, just about every Evolve update forces changes by default that I’m not too thrilled with and can’t seem to find a way to revert back to previous looks.

The big issue, right now, is that I can’t get the background color to change from a ‘white’ no matter what I set background color to in any of the settings. I’m using the default image to cover up right now, but I’d prefer a flat color.

Also, blockquotes are now so light it’s hard to read (and I’m young and have good eyes). How do I go about changing the blockquote text colors?

I’d also like to change the Evolve content background color. The color is too light, but the dark theme is just…no.

Any help would be appreciated.
