    hello,
    very nice theme, just a little snag, I wanted to give a background color to the sidebar but concern is that the background color stops at the last widget instead of going to the footer, I wonder if the div id= container should not be in close footer.php instead of loop.php

    thank you

    same. I tried .right then. .sidebar-container and container.
    It is making # container I saw that it was not all happy and left-sidebar, if it had fonctionnr, I have set content-left white. Thank you for responding.

    This is because the length of the sidebar, as the main content it widens automatically depending of the content length. You've done it right, now just put more content in it or shorten the main posts area.

    I doubt it but if I have a longer article that the number of widget in the sidebar, the problem will be there.
    no other way?

    Well, there is :) But it is applicable only if the sidebar will be with a constant height.
    You can add a fixed height to left area so it will renders along the sidebar.
    Something like this:

    .left{
    height: 900px;
    overflow: scroll;
    }

    overflow: scroll is needed in order to user be able to scroll in the content of the left side as the site's length remain static.

    thank you a solution that I thought but I was hoping it was possible to move the closure of container in footer.php, because I have a child theme.

    Depends of the structure of the theme itself. If your theme is composed of 2 containers one-to-another they are completely independent in their behavior.
    Try to make one uber-container in which to place other two, it this way you cam mimic the sidebar length by setting background of ubercontainer the same as sidebars, because ubercontainer will expand along with articles

    But it is a responsive theme, if he sets the height of the sidebar with a hard coded height:900px, will it cause his layout to degrade poorly in a mobile browser? I am interested in this answer myself.

    I guess he could do a min- or a max-height couldn't he?

    @fingli : I do not speak English, I use a translator to read and write, what is an uber-container?

    Sometimes it does not create as # hand take: .content-left and sidebar?

    Thank You
